Gooseneck Hill Waterfowl Sanctuary

Gooseneck Hill Waterfowl Sanctuary is the largest covered waterfowl sanctuary in the US, with over 6 acres under net, 500 endangered and protected geese, ducks and swans and 50 different species. It is open every Sunday in July and August from 2-5 PM and every day for groups of 20 or more by appointment. You are given a guided tour of the grounds and all the differnet species are explained to you. You can hand feed the geese and also feed over 2,000 koi fish. A fundraiser, “The Taste of the Southtowns,” is held at the Springville Fire Hall on May 6, from 11 AM-5 PM, with 9 restaurants serving over 50 items, Live Bands, and Chinese auction with over 50 baskets. There is also another fundraiser, “Wild Wing Festival,” on August 26, from 2-5 PM, at Gooseneck Hill with guided tours, live music and Chinese Auction.
